BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a cooperative purchasing agreement is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

This cooperative purchasing agreement will provide for an advanced human resources management system for the Police Department to be managed by the Department of Information and Technology Services. This agreement will provide for an advanced human resources management solution that takes a data-driven approach in identifying officers who display early warning signs of conduct that require a potential course correction. The solution uses an analytical approach to identify negative trends in performance. Once identified, the solution systematically alerts Police leadership of officers who are showing signs that they are a risk to residents, or at risk to perform actions that could diminish the reputation of the Police Department. The Police Department can then provide further evaluation and support needed to assist the employee in mitigating future potential issues.
