BACKGROUND
The City of Dallas adopts a federal legislative program every two years at the beginning of the Congressional session. The agenda includes statements regarding the City’s legislative goals and a comprehensive list of legislative initiatives on which the City of Dallas will be focused during the session.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
The Legislative Ad Hoc Committee was briefed on “Review of the Legislative Program for the 114th Session of the United States Congress” on February 9, 2015.
On February 25, 2015, City Council authorized adoption of the Federal Legislative Program for the 114th Session of Congress by Resolution No. 15-0375.
On March 22, 2017, City Council authorized adoption of the Federal Legislative Program for the 115th Session of Congress by Resolution No. 17-0517.

On February 27, 2019, City Council authorized adoption of the Federal Legislative Program for the 116th Session of Congress by Resolution No. 19-0333.
The Legislative Ad Hoc Committee was briefed on “Development of the Federal Legislative Program for the 117th Congress” on February 1, 2021.
