BACKGROUND

 

This item authorizes an increase in the purchase amount for the acquisition of a tract of land containing approximately 7,400 square feet from Vince Ortez, located near the intersection of LaSalle and Cadillac Streets, for the Cadillac Heights Phase II Project. This property will be used for future location of City service and maintenance facilities. The consideration is based on an independent appraisal. No relocation costs are associated.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On October 13, 2020, City Council authorized acquisition from Vince Ortez, of approximately 7,400 square feet of land located in Dallas County for the Cadillac Heights Phase II Project by Resolution No. 20-1526.
