Junius Heights Historic District
COA-26-000334
Christina Paress
Request
A Certificate of Appropriateness to change paint colors of main structure (Body - SW0032 “Needle Point Navy”, Trim - SW7006 “Extra White”, and Doors - SW7069 “Iron Ore”).
Applicant Ramiro Araiza
Application Filed 6/16/2026
Staff Recommendation
That the request for a Certificate of Appropriateness to change paint colors of main structure (Body - SW0032 “Needle Point Navy”, Trim - SW7006 “Extra White”, and Doors - SW7069 “Iron Ore”) be approved with the conditions that the body color be less saturated and the trim be a more creamy color so that the paint colors are more appropriate and have less contrast and that final colors be approved by staff prior to application. Implementation of the proposed conditions would allow the proposed work to be consistent with preservation criteria Section 4.8 and 5.9; City Code Section 4.501(g)(6)(C)(i) for contributing properties, and the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
