BACKGROUND
On October 20, 2023, the City of Dallas advertised a re-bid of Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for the construction of the Anita Na?ez Martinez Recreation Center Building Envelope Renovation Project with bids due November 9, 2023. The re-bid effort was desired as the initial bid for this project on September 8, 2023 resulted in several non-responsive bids. A pre-proposal conference was held on October 25, 2023, with two potential proposer(s) in attendance.
In response to the advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received submittals from five firms on November 9, 2023. The bid procurement process complied with the City's Administrative Directive 4-05: Contracting Policy, Section 10 Procurement Processes.
This action will authorize a construction services contract for the Anita Na?ez Martinez Recreation Center Building Envelope Renovation Project located at 3212 North Winnetka Avenue to York Builders, Inc, the best value proposer of five, in an amount not to exceed $1,160,269.20.
