BACKGROUND
Daniel Gowan and Travelers Insurance filed claims against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for property damage and other damages sustained by Daniel Gowan in an automobile collision on July 4, 2023, involving a City of Dallas sanitation truck. Daniel Gowan, Travelers Insurance, and the city have reached a proposed settlement, subject to city council approval.
