BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Tenisha Leonard filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas and Terrance Joseph Hopkins, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on June 24, 2020, involving a Dallas Police Department employee operating a city-owned vehicle. The City and Tenisha Leonard have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Tenisha Leonard is represented by Bryan D. Pope, Dimitri Dube, and The Cochran Firm - Dallas, P.L.L.C.
