BACKGROUND
This item grants renewal of a revocable license to Big Outdoor Texas, LLC for the use of approximately 149 square feet of aerial space to occupy, maintain and utilize the existing videoboard sign over a portion of Field Street right-of-way located near its intersection with Elm Street. This renews the rights previously granted by Ordinance No. 31590. The use of this area will not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The term of this license is five years.
The licensee will indemnify the City and carry general liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On August 12, 2020, the City Council authorized a revocable license to Big Outdoor Texas, LLC for the purpose of installing, maintaining and utilizing a videoboard sign over a portion of Field Street right-of-way by Resolution No. 20-1140; Ordinance No. 31590. The term of this license was four years.
