BACKGROUND
This item grants renewal of a revocable license to Sneaker Politics, L.L.C., for the use of approximately 9 square feet of aerial space to occupy, install and maintain an illuminated blade sign over a portion of Main Street right-of-way near its intersection with Malcolm X Boulevard. This renews the rights previously granted by Ordinance No. 31654. The use of this area will not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The term of this license is two years.
The licensee will indemnify the City and carry general liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On September 23, 2020, the City Council authorized a revocable license to Sneaker Politics LLC for the purpose of installing, maintaining and utilizing an illuminated blade sign over a portion of Main Street right-of-way by Resolution No. 20-1421; Ordinance No.31654. The term of this license was four years.
