BACKGROUND
This item, on behalf of the Dallas Police Department, authorizes a forty-year lease agreement with four, ten-year renewal options, with University of North Texas System, for approximately 4.216 acres of land located at 7300 University Hills Blvd. This lease will provide for the design, construction, and use of a law enforcement training facility for the Dallas Police Department.
The lease will begin on the Date of Beneficial Occupancy and end 40 Lease Years later.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On June 9, 2021, the City Council authorized a Memorandum of Understanding by Resolution 21-1022.
