Authorize a construction services contract for the construction of Streetscape/Urban Design Group 17-7006 (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) - HQS Construction, LLC, lowest responsible bidder of three - Not to exceed $2,642,465.00 - Financing: 2023 Certificate of Obligation ($1,999,585.00) and Equity Revitalization Capital Fund ($642,880.00)

BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a construction services contract with HQS Construction, LLC for the construction of three streetscape/urban design improvement projects as Streetscape/Urban Design Group 17-7006.
The scope of the project will include the construction of the following elements: reinforced concrete sidewalk, color-textured concrete crosswalks, drive approaches, reinforced barrier free ramps, curb, and gutter, and adjusting water and wastewater appurtenances. The project will also include installation of pedestrian lights, and construction of gateway markers (monuments), for the Ferguson Road at Highland Road and Lakeland Drive intersections.
HQS Construction, LLC, is a Plano-based corporation, operating within the corporate city limits of Dallas, Texas.
