Authorize an increase to the construction services contract with Tiseo Paving Company for the additional bridge and water main improvements needed on Canada Drive from Westmoreland Road to North Hampton Road and South Canada Drive from Calypso Street to Canada Drive East - Not to exceed $327,484.35, from $23,640,968.85 to $23,968,453.20 - Financing: Street and Transportation (A) (2017 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($49,910.40), and Water Capital Improvement G Fund ($277,573.95)

BACKGROUND
On September 28, 2022, the City Council authorized the construction services contract with Tiseo Paving Company, for the construction of Canada Drive from Westmoreland Road to North Hampton Road and South Canada Drive from Calypso Street to Canada Drive East by Resolution No. 22-1447.
During construction, it was discovered that three fire suppressor vaults are in conflict with the proposed paving and need to be replaced. Also, additional bridge improvements are needed to complete the bridge construction.
This action will authorize Change Order No. 7 to the construction services contract with Tiseo Paving Company, for the additional bridge and water main improvements needed on Canada Drive from Westmoreland Road to North Hampton Road and South Canada Drive from Calypso Street to Canada Drive East.

Complete Construction April 2026
