Body

BACKGROUND

This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for goods, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.

On September 15, 2025, the City of Dallas terminated the agreement with Fair Park First (FPF) for the management and operation of Fair Park for the Park and Recreation Department. With the termination of the FPF agreement, any service agreements with FPF, including janitorial services, were also terminated.

ACT Event Services, Inc. entered into a professional services agreement with the Town of Addison, Texas for the provision of janitorial services. Pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperative Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, the City of Dallas desires to enter into a three year Interlocal Cooperation Purchasing Agreement with ACT Event Services, Inc. to provide complete janitorial services for the administration areas at Cattle and Swine Building, Cotton Bowl, Centennial Building, Hall of Religion, Tower Building, Visitor Center as well as on an on needed basis for events held at Fair Park.
