BACKGROUND

 

The City of Dallas advertised for bids for the Trinity Strand Hi-Line Span Project on August 28, 2024 and September 4, 2024. In response to the advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received bids from six firms on October 18, 2024.

 

This action will award a contract for construction of the Trinity Strand Hi-Line Span Bridge and Trail Project to the Fain Group, Inc., lowest responsible bidder of six, for the Base Bid and Alternate Nos. 2 and 3, in an amount not to exceed $8,790,898.00. This project is funded by the Office of Economic Development.

 

The scope of work includes a new prefabricated pedestrian bridge at Irving Boulevard, a custom pedestrian art bridge at the end of Hi Line Drive in the Dallas Design District, concrete trail, retaining wall, lookout plaza and development including shade structures, lighting, and landscaping at Hi-Line Drive.
