BACKGROUND
This service contract will provide for the processing of applications and renewals of security alarm permits and the collection of fees associated with the security alarm permits and false alarms for the Dallas Police Department (DPD). The DPD Security Alarm Unit, in conjunction with the Special Collections section of the Dallas Water Utilities Department, is responsible for the administration of the City's security alarm permitting and false alarm fees collections for the approximately 176,000 residential and commercial security alarm permits.
