Authorize (1) a construction services contract for the construction of the Glendale Park Phase I Improvements Project located at 1515 East Ledbetter Drive - ALCC, LLC, dba Perfect Finish Landscaping, lowest responsible bidder of four; and (2) increase in appropriations not to exceed $850,000.00 in the Capital, Gifts, Donations & Development Fund - Not to exceed $1,830,638.40 - Financing: Park and Recreation Facilities (B) Fund (2017 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($500,000.00), Capital, Gifts, Donations & Development Fund ($850,000.00), Park and Recreation Facilities (B) Fund (2024 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($480,638.40)

BACKGROUND
On October 4, 2024, four bids were received for the construction of the Glendale Park Phase I Improvements Project located at 1515 East Ledbetter Drive.
This action will authorize a construction services contract with ALCC, LLC dba Perfect Finish Landscaping, the lowest responsible bidder of four, for the construction of the Glendale Park Phase I Improvements Project of the Park Master Plan, which includes a pavilion, site furnishings and connections to the existing trails, for the construction of the Base Bid, in the amount of $1,830,638.40.
The following chart illustrates ALCC, LLC dba Perfect Finish Landscaping’s contractual activities with the City of Dallas for the past three years:

It is estimated that the Glendale Park Phase I Improvements Project is creating 80 jobs through the course of the project.

On January 9, 2024, the Park and Recreation Board will consider authorizing a construction services contract for the construction of the Glendale Park Phase I Improvements Project located at 1515 East Ledbetter Drive with ALCC, LLC, dba Perfect Finish Landscaping.
