BACKGROUND

 

On January 10, 2024, the City Council authorized the construction services contract with Jeske Construction Company, for the construction of Alley Reconstruction Group 17-8003 by Resolution No. 24-0118.

 

During construction, it was discovered that it was necessary to replace the existing 6-inch wastewater main in the alley between Freeland Way and Homeway Circle and Babalos Lane with a new 8-inch wastewater main.

 

This action will authorize Change Order No. 1 to the construction services contract with Jeske Construction Company, to add the wastewater main improvements and appurtenance adjustments needed on Alley Reconstruction Group 17-8003 to the contract.
