BACKGROUND

 

On February 12, 2025, the City of Dallas advertised the Request for Qualifications for Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services for the new White Rock Hills Recreation Center. In response to this advertisement, the Office of Procurement Services received submittals from 31 interested architecture firms on March 14, 2025.

 

On April 16, 2025, the Park & Recreation Department, Planning and Design Selection Committee evaluated and ranked 31 firms based on their qualifications.

 

On April 29, 2025, the Planning and Design Division sent a Request for Proposal for Architectural and Engineering Services for the new White Rock Hills Recreation Center to the top 5 interested architectural firms. The Planning and Design Division received submittals from the 5 firms on May 16, 2025.

 

On May 28, 2025, the Selection Committee’s evaluation scored the proposals and ascertained that FGM Architects, Inc. was the most qualified proposer for this project.
