An ordinance correcting Ordinance No. 29829, previously approved on August 12, 2015, which amended Ordinance No. 20860, “Thoroughfare Plan - City of Dallas, Texas” to replace Exhibit A to reflect the correct dimensional classifications for Beckley Avenue between Interstate Highway 30 and Greenbriar Lane and Beckley Avenue between Zang Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard as approved in the text of Ordinance No. 29829 - Financing: No cost consideration to the City

BACKGROUND
On August 12, 2015, the City Council approved Ordinance No. 29829, amending Ordinance No. 20860, “Thoroughfare Plan - City of Dallas, Texas” by changing the dimensional classifications of the following: Beckley Avenue between Interstate Highway (IH) 30 and Greenbriar Lane; Beckley Avenue between Greenbriar Lane and Colorado Boulevard; Beckley Avenue between Colorado Boulevard and Zang Boulevard; Zang Boulevard between Jefferson/Houston Viaduct and Oakenwald Street; Zang Boulevard between Oakenwald Street and Beckley Avenue; and Zang Boulevard between Beckley Avenue and Davis Street.
After the passage of the ordinance, it was discovered that the dimensional classifications for Beckley Avenue between IH-30 and Greenbriar Lane and Beckley Avenue between Zang Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard were incorrectly recorded in Exhibit A attached to the ordinance.
The text of Ordinance No. 29829 states that Beckley Avenue between IH-30 and Greenbriar Lane is designated a special six-lane undivided (SPCL 6U) roadway with 100 feet of right of way. However, Exhibit A attached to the ordinance calls for 88 feet of right of way and 64 feet of pavement. Additionally, the text of Ordinance No. 29829 states that Beckley Avenue between Zang Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard is designated a special six-lane divided (SPCL 6D) roadway with 88 feet of right of way and 64 feet of pavement. However, Exhibit A attached to the ordinance calls for 100 feet of right of way.
The text of Ordinance No. 29829 is correct; therefore, it is necessary to correct Exhibit A to match the text of the ordinance. This correction ordinance replaces the Exhibit A attached to Ordinance No. 29829 with the correct Exhibit A.
