Title
Authorize (1) a construction service contract for construction services to the Dallas Airport System Signage Project at Dallas Executive Airport - Holt Construction Corp., lowest responsible bidder of four; and (2) an increase in appropriation in an amount not to exceed $1,218,633.00 in the AVI Commercial Paper - Not to exceed $1,218,633.00 - Financing: AVI Commercial Paper

BACKGROUND
Dallas Executive Airport facility was first developed in the late 1940’s with a land mass of approximately 1,026 acres and was named Redbird Airport. The City of Dallas changed the name of the airport to Dallas Executive Airport in February 2002. During this time, several improvements were made to enhance the airport including signage. Currently, Dallas Executive Airport is sitting on 1,070 acres and houses over 200 based aircraft and over 50,000 aircraft operations.
Holt Construction Corp. will add three signage types at multiple locations on the airport site, one monument sign at the main entrance, three pylon signs, and four directional signs. Also, this project will relocate an existing sculpture to another area of the airport site. Project intent is to hire a contractor to construct a modern signage and wayfinding structure.
This action will authorize a construction services contract with Holt Construction Corp. for the Dallas Airport System Signage project at Dallas Executive Airport.
