Title
Authorize an amendment to Resolution No. 23-1588, previously approved on November 8, 2023 for the application for and acceptance of the FY 2024 grant (Grant No. M2418DCBD) from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division for the Annual Routine Airport Maintenance Program (RAMP) at Dallas CBD Vertiport to (1) modify the City’s anticipated grant to be at 90 percent of eligible costs or $100,000.00, whichever is less; (2) remove the local cash match requirement in the amount of $10,000.00; (3) modify the establishment of appropriations from $90,000.00 to the amount of $100,000.00 in the TxDOT 2024 Routine Airport Maintenance Program - RAMP Dallas CBD Vertiport Project Fund; and (4) modify the receipt and deposit of funds from $90,000.00 to the amount of $100,000.00 for reimbursement from TxDOT in the TxDOT 2024 Routine Airport Maintenance Program - RAMP Dallas CBD Vertiport Project Fund - Total amount of $100,000.00 - Financing: Texas Department of Transportation Grant Funds

BACKGROUND
The RAMP is a State assisted airport maintenance program that will enable the Department of Aviation to conduct needed annual maintenance repairs at Dallas Executive Airport. The primary objective of the expense is to perform annual maintenance repairs which include airport lighting, pavement markings, crack sealing repairs, and other routine maintenance necessary under the RAMP and TxDOT guidelines.
TxDOT will determine whether repairs are within the scope of eligible expenses for the TxDOT Grant for RAMP Funds and will participate in an amount equal to 90 percent of eligible costs or an amount of $100,000.00, whichever is less.
This action will authorize an amendment to Resolution No. 23-1588 to correctly align with the terms of the original grant agreement.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On November 13, 2019, the City Council authorized acceptance of the FY 2020 grant (Grant No. M2018DCBD) from TxDOT Aviation Division for the RAMP at Dallas CBD Vertiport; a local cash match for airport maintenance projects; and execution of a grant agreement by Resolution No. 19-1749.
On September 9, 2020, the City Council authorized acceptance of the FY 2021 grant (Grant No. M2118DCBD) from TxDOT Aviation Division for the RAMP at Dallas CBD Vertiport; a local cash match for airport maintenance projects; and execution of a grant agreement by Resolution No. 20-1309.
On October 27, 2021, the City Council authorized acceptance of the FY 2022 grant (Grant No. M2218DCBD) from TxDOT Aviation Division for the RAMP at Dallas CBD Vertiport; a local cash match for airport maintenance projects; and execution of a grant agreement by Resolution No. 21-1738.
On August 24, 2022, the City Council authorized acceptance of the FY 2023 grant (Grant No. M2318DCBD) from TxDOT Aviation Division for the RAMP at Dallas CBD Vertiport; a local cash match for airport maintenance projects; and execution of a grant agreement by Resolution No. 22-1187.
On November 8, 2023, the City Council authorized acceptance of the FY 2024 grant (Grant No. M2418DLEX) from TxDOT Aviation Division for the RAMP at Dallas CBD Vertiport; a local cash match for airport maintenance projects; and execution of a grant agreement by Resolution No. 23-1588.
