BACKGROUND

 

On October 17, 2024, the City of Dallas released Request for Qualifications CIZ24-PBW-3124 to provide professional services, as described in Section II, Project Description, related to Streets, Alleys, Sidewalks, Trails, Special Services including Traffic Signals, Street Lighting/Pedestrian Lighting, Permanent Traffic Signs, Bicycle Lane Design, Traffic Studies, Data Gathering, Permanent Paving Markings, Intersection Improvements, and Railroad Quiet Zones Establishment Process in various locations within the city of Dallas.

 

This action will authorize a professional engineering services contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. for the design of following projects:

If approved, this action will authorize a professional engineering services contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to support the design warranted installation or upgrade of traffic signal infrastructure at five intersections and conduct a traffic safety analysis and other associated tasks to improve traffic safety and efficiency.
