Title
Authorize the (1) acceptance of a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Infrastructure Grant Fund for the federal share of the eligible capital improvement project for the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law at Dallas Love Field (Grant No. TBD, Assistance Listing No. 20.106) in the amount of $24,000,000.00 for the construction of Passenger Boarding Bridges, Ground Power Units, and Pre-Conditioned Air Units for performance period shall be four years (1,460 calendar days) from the date of acceptance; (2) establishment of appropriations in an amount not to exceed $24,000,000.00 in the FY26 FAA-Airport Infrastructure Grant Fund; (3) receipt and deposit of grant funds in an amount not to exceed $24,000,000.00 in the FY26 FAA-Airport Infrastructure Grant Fund; and (4) execution of the grant agreement and all terms, conditions, and documents required by the grant agreement - Not to exceed $24,000,000.00 - Financing: FY26 FAA-Airport Infrastructure Grant Fund

BACKGROUND
The Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) Program, established through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, provides annual federal funding to eligible airports for capital improvement projects. Dallas Love Field (DAL) receives an annual AIG allocation based on a formula established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The City has received these annual allocations in prior fiscal years and is required to obligate the funds within the FAA's established timeframe.
This action authorizes the use of previous fiscal year AIG allocation for the replacement of Passenger Boarding Bridges, Ground Power Units, and Pre-Conditioned Air Units at DAL. These assets have reached the end of their useful life, and their replacement will improve the reliability, maintainability, and energy efficiency of the airport's commercial gate infrastructure.
