BACKGROUND
This action will authorize a construction services contract with Grey Sky Construction LLC for the 2026 On-Call Paving Contract. The scope of work will consist of surfacing milling; curb and gutter repair; sidewalk repair; Barrier-Free Ramp (BFR) installation; base pavement repairs; joint and crack sealing; underseal; leveling-up course where required; street restoration where required; hot mix asphaltic concrete surface course; pavement markings and street signal devices and other miscellaneous items as needed.
Grey Sky Construction LLC has had no contractual activities with the City of Dallas within the past three years.
ESTIMATED SCHEDULE OF PROJECT
Begin Construction October 2026
Complete Construction December 2027
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On February 28, 2024, the City Council authorized the transfer and reallocation of ARPA funds from the U.S. Department of Treasury for the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund to the ARPA Redevelopment multi-year fund to provide assistance with completing projects by Resolution No. 24-0315.
