Authorize a professional services contract with GEI Consultants, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of three local streets, 6500 Gold Dust Trail from Davenport Road to Levelland Road, 17800 Windpiper Drive from Frankford Road to Creek Bend Road and Peyton Drive from Meandering Way to Spring Valley Road, as part of Street Project Group 24-1201 (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) - Not to exceed $628,588.70 - Financing: Street and Transportation (A) Fund (2024 General Obligation Bond Fund) ($539,304.20), Water Capital Improvement F Fund ($52,741.12), and Wastewater Capital Improvement F Fund ($36,543.38)

BACKGROUND
The Request for Qualifications CIZ24-PBW-3124 was issued on October 9, 2024, for the 2024 Bond Program Capital Improvements Projects. The consulting firm, GEI Consultants, Inc., was selected following the qualifications-based selection process in accordance with the City of Dallas procurement guidelines.
This action will authorize a professional services contract with GEI Consultants, Inc. for the design of three local streets, 6500 Gold Dust Trail from Davenport Road to Levelland Road, 17800 Windpiper Drive from Frankford Road to Creek Bend Road and Peyton Drive from Meandering Way to Spring Valley Road, as part of Street Project Group 24-1201. The street reconstruction projects will include reinforced concrete pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway approaches, possible drainage system replacement, and water and wastewater improvements.
