BACKGROUND

 

Flatiron Constructors, Inc. is providing the City of Dallas construction services to the Crossfield Taxiways at Dallas Love Field for the construction of dual parallel taxiways, designated as Taxiways F and G and planned to be perpendicular to Runways 13L-31R and 13R-31L.

 

This Supplemental Agreement No. 1 will amend the scope of work to include creating infrastructure for the de-icing facility at the airport, including a parking lot, shelter building and foundation, foundation for glycol equipment, and utilities for Crossfield Taxiways at Dallas Love Field.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On August 26, 2020, the City Council authorized an engineering services contract with Garver, LLC to provide design, planning, construction documents and construction administration services for the design of the Crossfield Taxiways Project at Dallas Love Field by Resolution No. 20-1216.

 

On June 22, 2022, the City Council authorized a construction services contract for construction services of Crossfield Taxiways Project at Dallas Love Field with Flatiron Constructors, Inc., lowest responsible bidder of four by Resolution No. 22-0942.
