BACKGROUND

 

This service contract will provide real estate brokerage services on an as-needed basis, for a variety of real estate matters.  These services will be utilized to provide the City with assistance in facilitating real estate transactions, including but not limited to buying, selling, and leasing properties.

 

Payment of invoices to CBRE, Inc. are authorized for payment for services performed under Contract No. DEV-2019-00010801, which expired on April 9, 2025.  The payment for services rendered need to be paid using the funds originally encumbered.

 

The interlocal agreement with Dallas County is authorized by Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code and Subchapter F, Chapter 271, Texas Local Government Code. Section 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code authorizes a local government to participate in a Cooperative Purchasing Program with another local government or a local cooperative organization.
