BACKGROUND
On April 27, 2022, the City Council authorized the acceptance of a grant from the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration through the Texas Department of Transportation for intersection improvements at South Loop (SL) 12 (Walton Walker Boulevard) and Country Creek Drive, including the establishment of appropriations and the receipt, deposit, and disbursement of funds by Resolution No. 22-0643.
During implementation of the Advance Funding Agreement (Agreement No. CSJ 0581-02-158), City staff determined that Direct State Costs in the amount of $15,600.00, paid directly to the Texas Department of Transportation by the Federal Highway Administration, were inadvertently included in the amount authorized for appropriations, receipt and deposit, and disbursement of funds.
This action amends Resolution No. 22-0643 to correct the amounts authorized in Sections 2, 3, and 4 for appropriations, receipt and deposit, and disbursement of funds from $520,000.00 to $504,400.00. This correction aligns Resolution No. 22-0643 with the terms of the Advance Funding Agreement and does not modify the project scope, total project cost, or City participation.

On April 27, 2022, the City Council authorized (1) acceptance of a grant from the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration through the Texas Department of Transportation for the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (Agreement No. CSJ 0581-02-158, Assistance Listing No. 20.205) in the amount of $520,000.00 as the federal share of the total project cost of $683,955.77 (Federal Share: $520,000.00; Indirect State Costs: $30,055.77; City participation: $133,900.00) for costs related to the construction of intersection improvements, including left turn lanes, new traffic signal, and pedestrian crosswalks at the intersection of SL 12 (Walton Walker Boulevard) and Country Creek Drive in the City of Dallas; (2) establishment of appropriations in the amount of $520,000.00; (3) receipt and deposit of funds in the amount of $520,000.00; and (4) disbursement of funds in the amount of $520,000.00 in the SL 12 Walton Walker Boulevard and Country Creek Drive Fund by Resolution No. 22-0643.
FISCAL INFORMATION
This action has no cost consideration to the City. This action corrects the authorized appropriations, receipt and deposit, and disbursement amounts to conform to the Advance Funding Agreement and does not modify the agreement, project scope, total project cost, or City participation.
