BACKGROUND
This action will authorize Change Order No. 1 to the construction services contract with CCGMG LLC Series B for additional work at the alley located at Edgefield Avenue and Windomere Avenue from Twelfth Street to Wentworth Street. Change Order No. 1 will increase the contract amount by $116,870.00, from $497,361.00 to $614,231.00 and add a total of 30 calendar days to the contract term.
The additional scope of work includes adjustments of 26 water services for the lots located at the alley between Edgefield Avenue and Windomere Avenue from Twelfth Street to Wentworth Street. During construction, it was discovered that 26 existing water services were in conflict with the alley pavement construction. Adjustment of these water meters should be completed in a timely manner to avoid disruption of water services to property owners and minimize delays to the completion of the project.
