BACKGROUND

 

This Sole Source agreement will provide continued hosting, maintenance, and support contract for Dallas Fire Rescue Inspection Software. This software program is a formal system to reconcile monthly the data included in the computer systems used in the inspection process. This is to ensure that inspections that occurred are documented, permits are processed correctly, and the appropriate fees collected and are applied to the appropriate accounts.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On January 25, 2017, the City Council authorized an acquisition contract for the purchase and implementation of a fire inspection system and a five-year service contract for hosting, maintenance, and support for a fire inspection system with Xerox Government Systems LLC, by Resolution No. 17-0178; and

 

 

 

On August 10, 2022, the City Council authorized Supplemental Agreement No. 4 to increase the contract with Streamline Automation Systems, LLC for hosting maintenance, and support of the existing fire inspection system, by Resolution No. 22-1122.
