BACKGROUND
The request for qualifications (CIZ-24-399E) was issued in August 2024 for the 2025-2026 construction material testing services projects. The consulting firm, HVJ North Texas-Chelliah Consultants, Inc. dba HVJ Associates, was selected following a qualifications-based selection process in accordance with the City of Dallas procurement guidelines.
This action will authorize a professional services contract with HVJ North Texas-Chelliah Consultants, Inc. dba HVJ Associates to provide the construction material testing services needed for the construction of 10th Street from Interstate Highway 35 to Clarendon Drive. These testing services are required to ensure the materials utilized during construction are in conformance with the quality required by the project specifications.
