BACKGROUND

 

The City of Dallas and Dallas County wishes to enter into an interlocal agreement for park purposes and specifically managing, operating, developing, and expanding Klyde Warren Park, a city-owned park, that is managed and maintained on behalf of the City by the Woodall Rodgers Deck Park Foundation. The City is acting as a pass through for Dallas County to provide Klyde Warren Park in the amount of $250,000.00.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On November 21, 2024, the Park and Recreation Board will consider the Interlocal Agreement between Dallas County and the City of Dallas (City), for the purposes of improving land for park purposes and for the maintenance, development, operation, and expansion of Klyde Warren Park.
