Authorize a one-year cooperative purchasing agreement for the purchase of Infoblox, a centrally managed Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, and Internet Protocol Address space/Management solution for security monitoring and threat detection for the Department of Information and Technology Services with Netsync Network Solutions, Inc. through the Texas Department of Information Resources cooperative agreement - Not to exceed $114,740.00 - Financing: 2023 Homeland Security-Urban Area Security Initiative 24-26 Fund

BACKGROUND
This cooperative purchasing agreement will provide a centrally managed DNS, DHCP, and IP Address space/Management (DDI) solution for security monitoring and threat detection. This solution will optimize the City’s network infrastructure and enhance security and operational efficiencies.
Key Benefits include:
• Real-time Identification and mitigation of potential security threats
• IP address management, SHCP, and DNS configuration automation
• Automation of DHCP and DNS activities for reporting and audits
The DIR (Department of Information Resources) agreement is authorized by Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code and Subchapter F, Chapter 271, Texas Local Government Code. Section 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code which authorizes a local government to participate in a Cooperative Purchasing Program with another local government or a local cooperative organization.
