Title
Authorize an amendment to Resolution No. 23-0822, previously approved on June14, 2023, for the 2024 Barrier-Free Ramp Improvements along Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Bus Routes, in the amount of $4,444,455.00, from $33,942,245.00 to $38,386,700.00 with Estrada Concrete Company, LLC for the additional barrier free ramp and sidewalk improvements needed - Financing: DART Transportation Projects Fund

BACKGROUND
On June 14, 2023, the City Council authorized to execute an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) with DART for the distribution of up to $80,000,000.00 in funding from DART which consists of the City's portion of (i) excess sales tax funds from DART of $72,000,000.00 and (ii) additional Regional Transportation Council (RTC) Funds of approximately $8,000,000.00, all to be used to complete projects eligible for this funding that will benefit DART's Public Transportation System or provide Complementary Transportation Services located in Dallas by Resolution No. 23-0822.
On February 16, 2024, two bids were received for the 2024 Barrier-Free Ramp Improvements along DART Bus Routes.
On March 27, 2024, the City Council authorized a twenty-two-month construction services contract with Estrada Concrete Company, LLC, for the 2024 Barrier-Free Ramp Improvements along DART Bus Routes that include water and wastewater adjustments at various locations throughout the City by Resolution No. 24-0458.

This action will authorize Change Order No. 2 to the construction services contract with Estrada Concrete Company, LLC, for the additional barrier free ramp and sidewalk improvements needed for the 2024 Barrier-Free Ramp Improvements along DART Bus Routes; and will increase the quantities of the necessary contract items as needed.
