Authorize a construction services contract for erosion control improvements at nine locations (list attached to the Agenda Information Sheet) - Stoic Civil Construction, Inc., lowest responsible bidder of three - Not to exceed $4,775,000.00 - Financing: Storm Drainage Management Capital Construction Fund ($3,717,750.00) and Storm Drainage Management Certificate of Obligation Series 2024A Capital ($1,057,250.00)

BACKGROUND
The City of Dallas has identified nine locations experiencing severe erosion where creek banks need to be stabilized to protect existing structures and critical infrastructure. Engineering solutions have been developed, and construction plans and specifications were prepared and advertised for construction bids to address the severe erosion at each location.
This action will authorize a construction services contract with Stoic Civil Construction, Inc. to implement engineering solutions to mitigate critical erosion at these locations. The project improvements consist of the installation of gabion walls and gabion mattresses for erosion control at the following locations: 2921 Leeshire Drive; 2412 W. Kiest Boulevard; 3445, 3449, 3605, and 3621 Holliday Lane; 6145, 6153, 6155, and 6157 Summer Creek Circle; 6561 Trammel Drive; 10424 Marsh Lane; Elm Fork Trinity River - Upper East Skyline Trail Bridge at Trinity View Park; 17110 & 17114 Preston Bend Drive; and 10514 Sinclair Avenue. The construction of the proposed gabion walls and mattresses will address critical erosion concerns at these locations, protecting residential structures and infrastructure.
