Title
Authorize the (1) acceptance of a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) Program (Agreement No. CSJ 0918-47-352, Assistance Listing No. 20.205) in the amount of $1,200,000.00 as federal participation in the total project cost of $1,607,763.00, which includes $1,176,000.00 in federal reimbursement, $24,000.00 as federal participation for direct state cost, $77,763.00 as state participation for indirect state cost, and $330,000.00 ($294,000.00 for construction and $36,000.00 for direct state cost paid to TxDOT prior to construction) as local participation plus any cost overruns for the construction of a 0 to 4 lane roadway on Copenhagen Avenue from East Belt Line Road to south of Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) right-of-way in the city of Dallas; (2) establishment of appropriations in the amount of $1,176,000.00 in the TxDOT STBG Copenhagen Ave: E. Belt Line to S. DART ROW Fund; (3) receipt and deposit of funds in the amount of $1,176,000.00 in the TxDOT STBG Copenhagen Ave: E. Belt Line to S. DART ROW Fund; (4) required local match in the amount of $330,000.00; and (5) execution of the Advance Funding Agreement with TxDOT and all terms, conditions, and documents required by the agreement - Total amount of $1,506,000.00 - Financing: TxDOT STBG Copenhagen Ave: E. Belt Line to S. DART ROW Fund ($1,176,000.00) and DART Transportation Projects Fund ($330,000.00)
