Authorize a professional services contract with Kleinfelder, Inc. to provide the construction material testing services needed during the construction of Special Project Group 17-5001 - Not to exceed $105,260.00 - Financing: 2024B Certificates of Obligation Fund

BACKGROUND
The request for qualifications (CIZ-24-399E) was issued in August 2024 for the 2025-26 construction material testing services. The request has resulted in a short list of qualified firms. The consulting firm, Kleinfelder, Inc. was selected following a qualifications-based selection process in accordance with the City of Dallas procurement guidelines.
This action will authorize a professional services contract with Kleinfelder, Inc. to provide the construction material testing services needed for Special Project Group 17-5001. These testing services are required to ensure the materials utilized during construction are in conformance with the quality required by the project specifications.
The following is the location and material testing services cost for the project:
