BACKGROUND
Claimant Cheryl Jiles filed a claim against the City of Dallas, seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on March 13, 2025, involving a Dallas Fire-Rescue employee operating a city-owned fire engine. The City and Ms. Jiles have reached a proposed settlement of her claims, subject to City Council approval. Ms. Jiles is represented by Witherspoon Law Group.
