BACKGROUND
The City of Dallas desires to enter into a funding and development agreement with Fair Park First (FPF) for the design, development, and construction of the Community Park at Fair Park. The Community Park at Fair Park was recommended in the Mayor’s Fair Park Task Force Report dated September 2, 2014, and as set forth in the Fair Park First Masterplan for the use and enjoyment of the surrounding Fair Park community as well as the public in general.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
Park and Recreation Board briefed this item on September 25, 2025.
FISCAL INFORMATION
This action has no cost consideration to the City. There is no financial impact to the City, funds are to be provided by Fair Park First.
