BACKGROUND
This action does not encumber funds; the purpose of a service contract is to establish firm pricing for services, for a specific term, which are ordered on an as needed basis.
This service contract will provide for maintenance and support for the existing airport access control system (AACS) at Dallas Love Field for the Department of Aviation. These services will ensure the continuous operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Dallas Love Field's critical security systems infrastructure.
The system includes, but not limited to, the following:
* Closed circuit television subsystem
* Security intercom subsystem
* Video badging/credentialing subsystem
* AACS controlled doors and door hardware
* Other components at the Dallas Airport Facilities
Ongoing support and maintenance services are required to ensure system reliability and continuity of operations. These services provide timely response to system issues and support proactive maintenance efforts, minimizing downtime and reducing operational disruptions. This contract will also serve as the basis for implementing any future modifications to the existing AACS undertaken throughout the term of this agreement.
