BACKGROUND
With the implementation of the 2018 International Fire Code, the International Code Council introduced Section 5707, “On-Demand Mobile Fueling Operations,” to Chapter 57, “Flammable and Combustible Liquids.” This section provides procedures and safety measures to allow the operation of on-demand mobile fueling operations of Class I liquids in limited locations with certain restrictions.
PRIOR ACTION / REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
The Public Safety Committee was briefed on the proposed ordinance on January 13, 2020.
