BACKGROUND
The Dallas Police Department has received the 2024-2025 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant for the period October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. The grant will provide funding to the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, Collin County District Attorney's Office. Collin County Sheriff's Office, Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, Denton County Sheriff's Office, Grayson County Sheriff's Office, Henderson County Sheriff's Office, Allen Police Department Abilene Police Department, Amarillo Police Department, Arlington Police Department, Fort Worth Police Department, Frisco Police Department, Garland Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department, Irving Police Department, Longview Police Department, Lubbock Police Department, Mesquite Police Department, Wichita Falls Police Department, Wylie Police Department, and the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. This funding will support the Federal Dallas Crimes Against Children Task Force to reduce crime related to the internet sexual exploitation of children.
