BACKGROUND

This Supplemental Agreement adds essential Microsoft software and server licenses to support the City's growth and maintain compliance. It includes Microsoft 365 for email, document editing, and collaboration, as well as remote desktop licenses for secure remote access. Additional server licenses are also included. These updates improve efficiency, strengthen security, and help prevent service disruptions, ensuring the City can continue delivering reliable services to residents and partners.

The Texas Department of Information Resources Cooperative agreement is authorized by Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code and Subchapter F, Chapter 271, Texas Local Government Code. Section 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code which authorizes a local government to participate in a Cooperative Purchasing Program with another local government or a local cooperative organization.
