BACKGROUND
Plaintiffs Ahmed Ahmed and Jose Penas each filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas seeking compensation for alleged bodily injuries and other damages sustained in an automobile collision on March 24, 2020, involving a city-owned sanitation truck. The individual lawsuits were later consolidated under the above-styled cause of action. The City and Plaintiffs have reached proposed settlements, subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff Ahmed Ahmed is represented by Daniella Alvarado and Link & Associates. Plaintiff Jose Penas is represented by Glenn D. Tucker, Sr. and the Law Offices of Glenn D. Tucker, Sr.
