BACKGROUND
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) leases approximately 211 square feet of technical space in the air traffic control tower cab at Dallas Executive Airport for equipment placement and related access. The FAA uses this space to operate the air traffic control tower, which provides air traffic services to aircraft operating at the Airport. The existing lease expires on September 30, 2026, and the FAA has a continuing need to occupy the space. This action will extend the term of the current no-cost lease by ten years, from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2036.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
On October 26, 2016, the City Council authorized Lease No. DTFACN-16-L-00130 by Resolution No. 16-1715.
