BACKGROUND
Plaintiff Jon Puryear EMS CE LLC filed a lawsuit against the City of Dallas and two employees of the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department, seeking injunctive relief and compensation for alleged copyright infringement, breach of contract, harmful access by computer, and computer fraud and abuse. The parties have reached a proposed settlement subject to City Council approval. Plaintiff is represented by Morgan Williamson LLP and RegitzMauck PLLC.
PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)
A confidential memorandum regarding this matter will be provided to the City Council on March 21, 2025.
