BACKGROUND
On June 26, 2024, the City Council authorized a professional engineering services contract with Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. for the design of pedestrian, bicycle, geometric, and landscaping improvements in the Elmwood Neighborhood along South Edgefield Avenue from Lebanon Avenue to West Illinois Avenue by Resolution No. 24-0926.
The project scope includes the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for sidewalk, pedestrian crossing, roadway geometrics, bike lane, striping, signage and landscaping improvements.
This action will authorize Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract with Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. to provide the additional engineering services required for the design of pedestrian, bicycle, roadway geometrics, and landscaping improvements in the Elmwood Neighborhood along South Edgefield Avenue from Lebanon Avenue to West Illinois Avenue, in an amount not to exceed $79,930.00, increasing the original contract amount from $203,650.00 to $283,580.00.
