BACKGROUND

These supplemental agreements will provide for the continuous disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and continuous bio-hazardous decontamination and spill clean-up services.

Per Administrative Directive 4-05 9.2.1 B-6, a master agreement awarded as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Agreement shall be authorized by a City Council resolution and be established for a set term plus one six-month extension, which may be authorized by Administrative Action. Extensions greater than six months must be authorized by a City Council resolution.

The Office of Environmental Quality & Sustainability in coordination with the Office of Procurement Services anticipates the completion of the new solicitation within the next six months.

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

On May 11, 2022, the City Council authorized to execute a cooperative purchasing agreement for (1) citywide hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal services with Green Planet, lnc. through an interlocal agreement with Dallas/Fort Worth international Airport in an estimated amount of $2,430,000.00; and (2) citywide bio-hazardous decontamination and spill cle...
