The system also provides continuous discovery of the STRs within the city limits, communication with STR hosts regarding requirements for registration and self-reporting, and training on the process to register. Importantly, this system will be more efficient for the City Controller's Office because it will eliminate the manual processes currently in place to manage HOT collections and provide the ability to pay HOT and Tourism Public Improvement District Assessment Fees electronically.
