BACKGROUND

 

This item grants renewal of a private license to Nexgen Management LLC, for the use of approximately 101 square feet of aerial space to occupy, maintain and utilize a pedestrian skybridge over a portion of Bullington Street right-of-way near its intersection with Akard Street. This renews the rights previously granted by Ordinance No. 18619. The use of this area will not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic. The term of this license is forty years.

 

The licensee will indemnify the City and carry general liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured.

 

PRIOR ACTION/REVIEW (COUNCIL, BOARDS, COMMISSIONS)

 

On March 6, 1985, the City Council authorized a private license to Lincoln Creek, Ltd. for the purpose of installing, operating and maintaining certain air space over Bullington Street right-of-way for a pedestrian skybridge by Resolution No. 85-0768; Ordinance No.18619.
